Travis R. Stokes

Travis is a partner in the firm and practices in the areas of business litigation and employment defense. He represents clients in the areas of contractual disputes, real property disputes, creditors’ rights, competitive business practice actions, fraud, breaches of fiduciary responsibility, and administration matters. Travis has represented clients in jury and non-jury trials in courts throughout the state, as well as in arbitrations and at mediations. He has also represented employers in cases before administrative agencies such as the Department of Fair Employment and Housing, Labor Commissioner, Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and the Employment Development Department.

Travis was born, raised and educated in Fresno. He graduated from CSU Fresno with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in German Literature, and he received his law degree from San Joaquin College of Law. When he is not working Travis stays busy travelling and camping with his family. Travis is also involved in the community as a member of the Fresno County Bar Association, the Association of Business Trial Lawyers, National Institute for Trial Advocacy – Trial Skills: Boston Program (2013), Leadership Fresno – Class of XXIX, Fresno Citizens’ Academy – Class V, and as the former president of the Central Valley Safety Society. Having earned the rank of Eagle Scout as a youth, Travis is also very involved with his son’s local Boy Scout Troop and is currently Assistant Scoutmaster.
